5 Step Make Up Routine with Harmon Face Values

I’m going to be real with you. I have a love hate relationship with makeup. I love the magic of makeup and the beauty of products but have zero patience to learn to put it on let alone put it on.

As some of you may know, I still work full time so I don’t have a ton of extra minutes to get ready in the morning. Meaning, I’m just like everyone else that is scrambling to get out the door, remembering to bring something for lunch, and battling traffic to get to work on time! In honor of us ladies that juggle crazy schedules, I’m teaming up with Harmon Face Values to share a 5 step makeup routine that I can execute in less than 7 minutes. I timed it.

Step one, cover your face with Almay Smart Shade foundation (or any foundation of your choice). Harmon Face Values has quite the selection! I like my products to be extremely lightweight because I have nightmares about that “caked on” look which is why Almay worked great for me. I’m also a product loyalist. When a brand formulates something extremely well, I stick with that brand for all the products in that category. In this case, step two was a really easy choice with the Almay Smart Concealer. I’m not even going to pretend that I don’t need concealer because I honestly live by it. I have a ton of things to cover up most notably the circles under my eyes! I’m human! I even use concealer as eye shadow because I like how it makes my eyes brighter.

Step three, blush. I swear by the pop of color that blush gives you and adore the fact that you can put it on in about 30 seconds. I’ve definitely forgotten to wear it some days and feel like I look extra tired that day whenever I catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror. I also consider mascara my religion and I loved this Maybelline Volum’ Express Mega Plush mascara. Your lashes can never be too thick or too long in my opinion! Finally, a moisturizing lipstick because a red lip always gives you that chic polished vibe. That’s it! Out of the house and ready to girl boss your way through your work day in under 7 minutes!

As you can see from the photo above, I did a little haul at Harmon Face Values. It’s like the Target of beauty and personal care products – you cannot make it out of there with just the list that you intended on getting when you walked in! There are too many amazing deals and great, affordable products that you just want to stock up. I mean, did you see the bins below with all the mini products at low price points? I always love everything that comes in a miniature size and can’t resist adding a few more items to my collection when there are this many options! I also picked up a few new shades of Essie nail polish as well as some of these grapefruit face wipes which I’m super excited to try.
