One of the studios at work recently threw a wrap party in Las Vegas so I figured, why not go and make a weekend out of it? It’s probably Matt’s favorite city in the world and happens to be where we met. After all the nagging from my mother about how I’d never meet my future husband in a bar, I must admit she was right. I met him in a Las Vegas nightclub instead. I love reminding her of this too.
I put this outfit together for a day of shopping along the strip followed by a couple of hours at the Sports Book to appease Matt. It is starting to get a bit chilly in Vegas, hence the boots, but not so cold that you need to wear pants so I switched up my look with this skirt from Free People which has quickly become one of my favorites. I love the silhouette and it makes me feel a bit like a school girl. Every item of this outfit has a different pattern or texture despite being all black. I love doing this because it keeps things interesting without warranting looks of “what is she wearing?” Although, if I were to wear anything completely ridiculous, Vegas would definitely be the place to do it.
I was just in Vegas a little over a month ago, but this post makes me miss it haha! I love this outfit- especially the boots!
