Happy Tuesday! The days of wearing fun floral dresses outside without a coat may be over for Chicago (our first snow was Sunday). However, I’ll be saving this one for when we go home to California for the holidays! This For Love and Lemons beauty is from Planet Blue and that is exactly what we are giving away on day 6 of our 12 days of giving series!
Before you ask, Plant Blue has tons of winter appropriate clothing too if you’re not going to be in warm weather anytime soon. I also love this striped turtleneck – it goes so well under an olive anorak. Or a big winter coat if you’re in the Midwest or on the east coast… And a scarf. And fleece lined gloves.
In case you haven’t noticed, over the knee boots have been on repeat for me. I know we all love how slimming they are, but they’re also warm. And to ease into this new climate, I’m taking all the tips I can! My birthday is tomorrow and I asked for cold weather accessories this year. I can’t decide if that’s lame or not but I know it’s going to come in handy after a few more snowfalls!
