Balancing a 9 to 5 job AND a social calendar is sometimes a daunting task – even thinking about it is! By the time you get home, you’re too tired to ponder what outfit to wear for your evening plans and the couch is calling your name. That’s where versatile outfits like one this come in! Luckily, my office isn’t too corporate so I can get away with wearing this but if this isn’t the case for you, try wearing a piece or two that can be transformed into a killer night look. It helps, I promise. This Jared Lang shirt is perfect for that – a standard button down, but the detail and vibrant pattern of the cuff/collar are a beautiful surprise that makes me love this designer so much. All of his shirts are amazing and they come in just about any color so definitely check them out!

I just snagged this Phillip Lim top from Target (on clearance!) and was surprised by how well it fit. What a steal! I’ve got a long torso which can make peplums a challenge and but top was perfect since the flare wasn’t too extreme. I also love the detailing around the neckline which provides a little pizzazz to your business (and evening) look. Add a classic Celine for that oh so glam style!

  4. Omgsh you look adorbs!! The detailing on the white shirt totally makes the outfit!! I have been having trouble myself balancing work and real life! I mean real life is so much more fun..stupid work lol I like having outfits that I can throw on after work and not think about it or transition straight from what I wear at the office! You rock this look girl!!
