White Moto Jacket | Grey Henley (sooo obsessed!) | Skinny Jeans (under $60) | Indigo Peep Toe Booties ($53) | Live Fashionable Tote (coming in this color soon!) | Pink Sunglasses
If I keep buying flowers, spring will come faster, right? As much as Matt rolls his eyes when I get lost in Trader Joe’s flowers, I can’t help it. After arranging flowers for my sister’s bridal shower, I completely understand why people become florists. It’s incredibly therapeutic and the results are gorgeous! I mean, show me an ugly bouquet. You can’t.
Matt and I went to the market this past weekend and the flower section got me yet again! He totally mumbled “buying your own Valentine’s Day flowers for yourself, huh?” at me while I was deciding which bunch of baby’s breath was the best. He was (somewhat) kidding. I see it as taking the pressure off him and decorating our coffee table at the same time. See yesterday’s post for some festive red tipped poms I found in honor of this day of love.
Today also marks the highest temperatures I can remember since November so you better believe a dress is coming out tonight for our date. This past weekend was relatively warm too so I tried to wear these peep toe booties. I quickly realized it wasn’t that warm. However, with a tote filled with flowers and these pink sunnies made me feel like spring was coming!
If I was only allowed to buy one pair of sunglasses this year, it would be these. I stalked them last year for ages until they came back in stock and I haven’t looked back. They are so feminine and girly without looking like those plastic $5 sunnies you get in the kids aisle at Target. While adorable, I’m far from being the age of a baby and also far from having one. Spoiler alert. Sorry mom!
P.S. Stay tuned for a fun giveaway involving this blush pink tote! It’s not available yet but I have the same one in Cognac and it’s such a great bag (last seen here). The giveaway will go up next Monday (2/20) on Instagram – make sure you’re following along so you don’t miss it!

This look is everything – so pretty and chic! And I’m with you…I totally get why people become florists. My husband rolls his eyes at me every time we go to the store because my first stop is always flowers. They make every room feel better, though!
