Watermelon

If I had to pick a favorite fruit (and that’s asking a lot from a vegetarian), it would be watermelon. As a little girl, I had quite an impressive ability to eat large quantities of it in one sitting. Not much as changed in the last 20 years either. Admittedly, I sliced a watermelon in half and ate an entire half for dinner. I actually cut up the other half like a normal adult to ration myself after this binge though so no need to be concerned.

This watermelon shirt dress is the perfect pool cover up for summer. Loose fitting so it doesn’t irritate those inevitable sunburns (even though we all are wearing sunscreen, duh)-  it’s easy, breezy, and fun. Super soft too – when I said cotton I meant cotton. I didn’t take this dress off until it was time for bed, it made such a perfect lounge piece. I will say that if you’re super tall, pair it with some cut off denim shorts! Also, thoughts on the straight hair? My hair is super stubborn and always wants to go back to being straight when I curl it so I’m letting it have it’s way. For now…
