With spring break (and spring in general) around the corner, I wanted to put together a spring break checklist for anyone packing for warmer weather soon! Matt and I are heading to Florida in a few weeks so these are a few things that I’m taking with me. Even if you’re not planning to jump on a plane, these items double as spring style essentials!
Even if you’re not going on spring break, check out my post on my 5 travel essentials!
Fun dresses.
I did a huge round up of my favorite spring dresses under $100 last week, but in case you missed it, here are a few more favorites! Dresses are so easy to style. You don’t need to worry about pairing things together and they are comfortable for those warm nights. They’re also ultra feminine.
Coverups.
Coverups are great because they can double as a a dinner dress but you can also take them to the beach. My favorite brand is 9seed which can be found at Shopbop. The dresses are so comfortable and durable that I end up taking them on every single warm weather vacation. This maxi dress is my go to! For a little more pizzaz, I love Pitusa pieces which I also wore in my Baha Mar travel guide yesterday!
Swimsuits.
Last week, I wrote about my 5 favorite places to shop for affordable swimwear. Budgets aside, there are some really freaking cute swimsuits out there right now so I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites. Of course these made my spring break checklist!
Beach bag.
Whether you’re looking to snag the perfect beach clutch or a good straw tote, there are some ridiculously cute options that pop up every spring. Personally, I love the Cult Gaia bag (or a really good $40 dupe of it) for dinners or more dressy occasions.
Statement earrings.
Whether you just want a little accessory for your bikini or you want to dress up your night out dress, statement earrings are a must. The more colorful, the better. Here are a few of my favorite ones that I’ve seen lately. Let me say, these white ones are a must have! Carry all your jewelry in this travel organizer. I’ve had mind for years!
Cute sunglasses.
Sunglasses are my favorite accessory. I always seem to travel with a few options. Whether you like Quay which is right around $50 or Karen Walker, you can’t go wrong. Plus, they protect your eyes so it’s for your health, right? My favorites right now are these heart shaped sunnies and are a must have on any spring break.
Wedges.
This is one of those items that I always forget and then kick myself later. Wedges are so much easier on the feet and end up looking way better with all those sundresses! Here are a few favorites.
Giant hat.
I love bringing hats to the beach to keep you a little cooler and protect your face. Plus, you can get some killer photos with them! What other criteria do you need for it to make a spring break checklist?
Beauty products.
It takes a lot to get that effortless “I woke up like this” look. Here are some of my favorite lightweight products. My top picks are this tinted moisturizer called Dew Skin, face oil, lip sheers (so good and moisturizing for beach days), and this safe sunscreen! To be honest, I travel with my whole 5-Minute makeup routine and my night time skincare routine!
Did I miss anything on my spring break checklist? Do you have anything you can’t travel without?
