Are you heading on a summer vacation? Matt and I are flying to Hawaii on Friday to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary so I thought I might share some of the items that I’m packing! Even if you’re hanging out at home, these items make summer just a little better!

Summer Vacation Hats.

One of the first things I picked up for our trip was a hat. I hate having my face in the sun! If you read my post on favorite summer beauty products, you know how big SPF is in my routine. I’m loving this BB Cream for under my makeup when I go to work and this face stick (which smells like chocolate) for days in the sun! Whenever I’m out in the sun, I always cover my face with a giant straw hat. This rosé all day hat is only $21! If you’re more of a visor person (I just ordered one and can’t wait to see how it fits), this “Adios” visor is amazing! Or, try a headband if you just want to keep your hair back!

I can’t go outside without sunglasses! My eyes are super sensitive to light so as someone who is always wearing sunglasses, I think they’re such a fun accessory. I’ve found a bunch of cute under $100 styles too! These heart shaped sunglasses are $14 if you want something fun but affordable. I love these cat eye sunglasses – the blush pearl color is really pretty. Lastly, these $55 aviator sunglasses are a favorite of mine! I have them in pink!
Summer Vacation Sandals.

Whenever I’m on vacation, I love to pack more sandals than heels. If I’m taking a break, my feet should be too! These braided Soludos sandals have been my favorites so far this year. The white and beige makes them really easy to wear with everything. I also love these embellished Steve Madden sandals which are on sale! I’ve had my eye on these suede bow sandals for a pop of color. The blush is still subtle and can be worn like a neutral!
Summer Vacation Swimsuits.

When swimsuit shopping, I’m constantly looking for a deal. It’s hard to justify spending a couple hundred dollars on something I don’t wear as often as a top! I’m loving the Topshop one pieces most – I first tried them back when we went to the Bahamas. I’m tall so I just size up! I also love the cut of this two piece – the high waisted bottoms are amazing. The colors of this colorblocked bikini are also amazing!
Summer Vacation Coverups.

Coverups are my favorite things to wear to the beach and then, to repurpose for dinner. The wrap maxi coverup I’m wearing above is very lightweight and doesn’t take up much space packing. I really like everything this brand makes as far as coverups go! This colorful beach throw is a fun option to wrap around at the pool. I’m also taking this white wrap maxi to Hawaii with us!

Sticking with the theme of fun accessories, I found a bunch of cute summer beach totes to take. I usually bring one beach tote with me and carry it on the plane with another smaller bag inside. It saves space! This rainbow straw tote is both affordable and cute! I’ve had my eye on this bamboo bag for dinners too!
Summer Vacation Towels.

If you’re staying local, there are some pretty cute towels out there! I really like these because they are under $25 and dry really quickly. They’re also lightweight enough to pack with you on vacation if you want! If you’ve been wanting a circle towel, here is my favorite!
