Summer Shorts

I hate finding shorts. I love summer but I could pass on the long and downright painful shorts search. After trying nearly every brand under the sun, I’ve found the few that consistently fit me and I’m sticking to them. This summer, I’ve opted for fun prints like these yellow striped shorts to brighten the mood. Tired of denim every day, I’m loving how these vibrant colors keep things interesting – but I’ll still wear denim one or two days a week :) However, I ordered this other pair too just to mix it up so expect to see those soon!

Since my bottom half is my problem area, I’ve belted this top to accent my waist. It’s a distraction tactic, ladies. I love this Anthropologie belt because you can wear it so many ways. The tag even shows someone wearing it as a rose but I’ve already given up hope at trying to tie it that way. It’s also in the Anthropologie tag sale so it’s a steal at $15! I couldn’t wait to style it again so I ordered this grey belt too. Guess you’ll be seeing a lot of wrap belts in the future!

  3. I know the feeling -shorts are never my favorite type of shopping. I always look awkward in shorts, and no matter the length, I feel like Goldilocks- nothing is just right. But lucky you, you found your “just right” pair. I am in love with how you paired it with the oversized tunic, and the belt. Smart move. So jealous you found your shorts!
