The Style Charade x Sail to Sable holiday 2022 capsule collection is here and it is a good one! I had the privilege of previewing the collection at The Greenbrier this year and it was truly unforgettable (both the collection and the resort). My friend, Jenn Lake, and the Sail to Sable team worked tirelessly to ensure each piece is crafted with such quality and attention to detail. Pockets, lining, the perfect fit – the list goes on. If you’d like to see the collection in detail, I’m sharing each piece over on Instagram today!
This blackwatch tartan ball skirt is my favorite piece from the entire collection. It is so incredibly comfortable I would work from home in it every day. When I first put it on, I told Jenn that it could have been a lounge skirt. If want to be comfortable for the holidays, this skirt is a dream. What makes it even better is that it looks stunning. It’s an absolute show stopper. I plan to restyle it with various pieces but I do love the mockneck sweater from this year’s holiday collection too. The sleeve detail and the fabric are heavenly and it isn’t heavy! The bow can also be tied in front, on the side, or in the back.
Sequins, sequins, sequins. Style Charade and Sail to Sable make some of the best sequin dresses for holiday outfits that I’ve seen. The sequins stay on and the dresses are quite comfortable with pockets (and bump friendly!). I’m wearing both the Charlotte in emerald green and the Anne in midnight blue (longer length) here. What I love about this year’s colors is the versatility. You can wear and re-wear them on any number of occasions.
The Marsha dress has a beautiful sequin bow embellishment on the front of a classic little black dress. I’m wearing the black here but the pink is also stunning! It is definitely a show stopper and the perfect piece to get in the holiday spirit with.
I love that there is another little black dress option in this collection. The velvet tiered sleeveless Charlotte is the perfect canvas for a colorful clutch or statement earrings. It also has pockets and a hidden side zipper with the classic fit and flare silhouette.
The Allie dress has the cutest back detail in the capsule collection: an emerald green bow. It has a chic v-neck cut on the back that doesn’t dip too low so you can still wear regular undergarments (that is true of the entire collection)! The Allie is made of taffeta and sold out early last year!
