You might not know this, but I still work full time. Yes, I have one of those rarely coveted 9 to 5 desk jobs and most of my day is spent Alt-Tab-ing through the Microsoft Office Suite. Nope, it’s not glamorous but that’s real life.
Despite the lack of appeal surrounding an office workplace, there are a few style blessings that come out of it that I love incorporating into my personal life. Among them, the pencil skirt, simple classic pumps, and structured blazers. Today’s blazer is one of those timeless pieces that you’ll have in your closet forever. I’m wearing the slim fit option and I love the shape it gives you. I am always terrified of looking like a linebacker when it comes to blazers but this one didn’t have that effect. At least, I don’t think it did but you be the judge.
Fortunately, I’m not required to wear the dreaded business casual attire (that’s LA for you!) so I could totally wear this outfit to work. White skinnies and the classic black pump (also another thing I frequently wear outside of the office) finished off the look perfectly.
