As we head into September, my mind starts to shift toward filling my closet with utility pieces. Pieces that can be worn multiple times and re-styled so that you don’t get sick of them by December. Summer fashion is exciting with its loud prints and crazy cutouts but fall brings the challenge of mixing and matching your favorite neutrals. I love it. For me, this shirt dress is the perfect canvas on which to build your fall wardrobe.
First, it’s incredibly easy to wear with its loose fit – you can belt it or leave the belt off. I tend to gravitate toward that hourglass figure hence why I tied it up. I am also obsessed with this belt because there are like 5 ways to tie it. Roll up the sleeves or don’t. Pair it with pumps, mules, or even over the knee boots (flat or heeled). Black, grey, tan, and white – all pair incredibly well with navy which means an infinite combination of accessories for just one dress. I’m planning to re-style this dress later in the season with one of these combinations so keep an eye out for ideas! AND if navy isn’t for you, it comes in THREE other colors (olive is next on my list).

Great look. I have been eyeing and loving those French Connection shoes forever, and finally bought a pair only to find them SO small. So I returned them for a half size bigger (which is bigger than any shoes I own) and they’re still too small! I’m so bummed. But they look so great on anyone who can fit them! LOL
