Sauvage Swimwear

I’ve been trickling in my outfits from Belize since we’ve been back but next week I’m dedicating the entire week to vacation style! And because I’m super excited about vacation style (because it inevitably comes along with a vacation), today I’m sharing this amazing bikini from Sauvage Wear. I learned earlier this year that the monokini isn’t made for those of us with a long torso so thank goodness Sauvage takes a creative perspective on bikinis to keep it fresh. I know I’ve owned about 50 basic triangle bikinis in my lifetime, how about you? Straps to the max which if you’ve ever read my blog, you know makes me beyond happy.

Matt is making his début on Visions of Vogue today too! The girls at Sauvage were so sweet to ask if he wanted a suit for our trip and of course he picked the shortest shorts available with the shores of Key West (he’s really into Florida) on them. Little did he know that his thighs, which haven’t seen the light of day since he was born, would be prime real estate for a sunburn. Fortunately, there were palm trees a plenty and the cutest little hut to shade his pale limbs from the bright rays. Remember from last week’s post that we stayed at Thatch Caye Resort and we both highly recommend it if you’ve ever had an inclination to stay on a tiny, exotic island!

And because wearing accessories while at the beach generally annoy me, I’m only wearing sunglasses. My eyes are super sensitive to light so naturally, I packed 6 pairs for this vacation.
