This weekend was the first weekend in a long time that it was above 50 degrees! I literally had to carry my cold weather accessories. That’s how warm it was! Trust me, there was a day when I shivered at the thought of 50 degrees. I don’t think the majority of people would call it “warm”. But after a few months of living in Chicago, I think I’m finally acclimated to the cold. So after a little perspective, it’s warm-ish. Let’s leave it at that, eh?
While I’m not exactly ready to break out the spring dresses, this ruffle sleeved sweater gives me all the feels of the warm weather to come. It’s lightweight and I love the color grey. There are a ton of ruffled options out there right now so I linked to a few above! I’m all about ruffles and feminine fits for spring (and in general). Hopefully, I’ll be able to get back to wearing more of it soon! This weekend was a total tease but I’m crossing my fingers these temperatures are here to stay.
I’m no stranger to grey outfits. I mean, did you see this eyelash cardigan and fringe scarf combo a few weeks ago? I die. If I had an outfit that defined me, that might be it. In winter at least. What about this grey cable knit (on sale)? Recapping these looks, has me thinking I need to incorporate a little more color into my wardrobe. Then again, monochromatic looks always seem to look a little more stylish so I’ll stick with it!
You know what else makes you look like you belong on a runway? Over the knee boots. I feel like I’ve been wearing my black suede boots to death lately. So, I found these grey boots to give them a breather! They’re amazing and are under $100! That makes them the best Stuart Weitzman dupes I’ve found at that price point. Size up a full size though – they run small!
