As a blonde, I never thought purple was a color I could wear until I met Matt who adores it. I’d label him metrosexual if it wasn’t for his excessive knowledge of ESPN and obsession with Batman (he’s playing the video game as I write this). Then again, I never thought I’d be one of those girls who spends more than 15 minutes getting ready but he loves when I’m all dolled up too. For someone who played with Hot Wheels as a kid while her sister got Barbies, this was (and sometimes still is) a daunting task for me. The tomboy in me doesn’t get excited about spending an hour getting ready. Waiting the suggested 20 seconds for your curling iron to curl? Ugh, that feels like a lifetime! Patience is definitely not a virtue I possess. However, I definitely love the way I feel when I’m looking my best and I welcome the change of pace since I spend all week working with video gamers. Read: t-shirt and jeans wearing males.
What I have found, is that pinks and purples make it a lot easier to create a feminine look in less time than you would think. Also, I’m loving that buns and top knots are back in because they are super quick and I’m all about anything that doesn’t take a lot of time. Add a pair of these dazzling Valentino Rockstud Pumps drab to fab in seconds! What pieces are your favorite for making you feel feminine?
I really like my crop tops.
Haha you’re welcome!!
Sometimes I think being able to get all dolled up is the best part of being a girl. You look fantastic!
