We’re still having cooler weather here in Chicago so I’m breaking out this suede moto jacket again for an added layer in the office. A few weeks ago, I shared another way to style it as well as all the colors it came it. It’s one of my favorite pieces no matter what season it is. It’s great for warmth in winter, great to layer over dresses in spring, and perfect for riding boots in fall. Summer, depending on where you are, might see a few less wears but it’s definitely one of the most stylish pieces I own.
The star of this outfit for me today though is these shoes. These pink suede flats are just amazing. Y’all know that I love a good pair of mules to wear to work. They give your feet a break and are easier to convert to weekend wear. These come in 3 colors if you’re not feeling the pink. They’re still under $100 which is a great price for shoes. Since they often take the most beating of any of our clothing, it makes sense to invest in footwear.
One of the questions I get asked most is what to invest in when you’re first starting off in your career. And this white top is one of those things you can wear year after year. It’s on sale right now so it’s under $50 which is a great deal for a higher quality item. Just make sure you hand dry! It’s also long enough to wear with leggings if you want an elevated weekend look. It’s also part of my new workwear shop that I added where I add pieces that are great for the office to shop!
