Print mixing is one of my favorite ways to wear basics. When the basic (item) does it for you, that’s even better. I love the two different sizes of stripes on this knit sweater. The navy and bolder blue combo also makes it a little more interesting. After a season of wearing basics, it’s just what you need.

While you might be skeptical of adding another sweater to your closet right now, this one is an easy mix it up (but not too crazy) option. It also comes in a great yellow that would be perfect for spring. Both colors, since they’re basis is white, make great versatile pieces. They’re really lightweight and can easily be layered over a great chambray top for a more casual look.

I’m wearing this combo with beige pumps but you could also do the same shoes in grey. Both colors (plus another) are on sale right now at various discounts. They’re all available at Nordstrom too. They are by far my favorite heels!
