Grey V-Neck Sweater ($45 and in 6 colors!) | Similar White Button Down | High Waist Skinny Jeans (33% off, size down a size!) | Pink Mules (I love these and they come in 7 colors!) | Grey Tote (4 colors) | Grey Coat
Bring out the semi-preppy today! Y’all know by now that I like to throw a little button down and sweater together. It is so appropriate for the office and also serves to keep you warm on those really cold days.
I originally had this sweater in beige but bought the grey because it’s such a steal. I sized down to avoid an oversized fit. It’s still not tight by any means and it’s definitely a thicker sweater so it will keep you warm. That being said, I always am careful with what I style with chunky knits so I don’t end up looking frumpy or bigger than I am. Which just means I wear things like pencil skirts or skinny jeans with them! It’s all about balance!
I’ve gotten so many questions about where I go for white button downs lately! This one is by a brand called Frank and Eileen but they’re definitely more investment tops. My other go to for button downs is J.Crew Factory. I periodically check their website and basically buy whatever button downs are in stock that I like. They are almost always under $50 and you can style them for the weekend too. There isn’t always a great selection so I just check back every month or two for new options! Here are some current favorites!
These mules are arguable one of my favorite mules this year. I just can’t get enough of the color – it’s not a bold pink, definitely more subtle so if pink isn’t your thing usually but you’ve been wanting to try it, this is a great step in that direction. I also sized up a half size (I always do on mules). They come in 7 other colors too if pink is out of the question for you!
Let me know what you think!
