White Tie Sleeve Sweater | Beige Wool Scarf (so warm, under $50!) | Black Skinny Jeans | Red Suede Mules | Cognac Mini Crossbody
Today’s work outfit is a really easy one where you can wear each piece separately in tons of ways! It’s also a sneak peek of something coming to the blog next week but I loved it so much when Matt and I shot this weekend that I had to wear it to work.
So let me break it down! This scarf is HANDS DOWN the best scarf you can buy for the cold. I own 3 colors and it’s under $50. It’s wide enough to use as a chic wrap for a formal event or style like I wore it on Instagram Stories for a regular day. It’s also long enough to double wrap it. I use it to cover my face as I walk to work during the winter. It’s seriously so soft, doesn’t irritate my face, and is so snuggly. It’s on the level of that Barefoot Dreams cardigan I talked about before! Everyone needs it (especially if you live in a cold climate).
This tie sleeve sweater is one of my favorites for fall! I feel like I’ve seen so many sweaters with different embellishments on the sleeves but these ties are my favorite. Ruffles tend to make me look even wider and sometimes bell sleeves are just too much and they get in the way. Matt talked about both of these fall fashion trends in today’s post if you want to hear a guy’s perspective! I got this sweater in grey and white and sized down one size.
These red mules are my 4th pair of mules this season. Can you tell I love them? They’re a great alternative to the classic pump and give your feet a rest. I went with the red because I have a pair of black ones already and I have these beige loafers so I wanted to build out my statement color shoe repertoire.
