After a weekend of dressing up, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t grateful to be in casual clothes for a few days. This is one of my favorite outfits because, while it looks chic (it’s all because of these over the knee boots), it’s extremely comfortable too. I’ve been living in the cowl neck this year. Pretty sure I’ve worn one every day of the work week at least once in the last few months. This olive cowl neck from 2020 Ave is super soft – if it’s not available in your size, here’s a similar knit sweater.

This asymmetrical shearling coat is one of my new favorites. I’m not one to rock fur or leather regularly because it gives me the creeps a little. As a vegan-ish gal, I’m not an extremist by any means but I’ve noticed certain things just seem a little too real for comfort now. For example, the full bodied crawfish that showed up at Christmas dinner. Couldn’t bring myself to eat anything on the appetizer buffet because that meant I’d have to look at those little things!

A major steal from today’s look are these $8 gold wire earrings. I’m constantly replacing my earrings which means when things are a great deal, it’s time to take advantage!
