It’s here! FINALLY. I’m so ready for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to be here (and quite frankly, to be over)! I woke up early this morning to round up the BEST items for you guys so I hope you enjoy! Grab them fast (you can always return and go back for more later)!
If you’re new to the sale, it’s the most highly anticipated shopping event of the year. Here are some key facts:
- It’s NEW inventory. These items have not been available until right now. They are fall/winter items and as my Midwest/East Coast girls know, that is 6 to 9 months of the year!
- The discounts are amazing. There are brands at all price points from $15 to $1500!
- Nordstrom cardholders get to shop 8 days before everyone else! There is still time to get a card!
- Shop early. Things always sell out and it’s usually the best stuff. That’s why I write this post on the first day of every sale!
- The Nordstrom return policy is VERY good so when in doubt, just buy it!
- Place multiple orders! Free shipping is a blessing! Get anything that looks good from this list and then go back for anything you may have missed later!
- Make sure you are following me on Instagram for try-ons and in the Like To Know It App for exclusive content!
So here’s what to grab first! You can shop all my favorite picks BY CATEGORY here!
1. Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan (3 colors).
This is the softest thing that you’ll own! I’m not kidding. It is literally the softest fabric ever. I have it in 2 colors! I stalked the beige last year after not buying it up front and it never came back in stock! If you don’t like the “circle” style, grab this one or one of the blankets or pillows!
SIZING: order your regular size unless things tend to run tight on your arms. If they do, size up. It also comes in plus sizes here.
2. Thermal Henley (4 colors).
This is another amazing basic that comes in 4 different colors so I’d recommend grabbing 2.
SIZING: order your regular size.
3. Waffle Knit Cardigan.
There were quite a few BP basics that stood out to me a lot this year and this waffle knit cardigan is at the top of my list! Grab this lace cami for $22 to layer underneath! Another BP favorite is this “ribbed cardigan” which looks more like a thermal to me (I also grabbed this since it was only $26).
SIZING: size down one size at least.
4. Scoop Neck Tee (5 colors).
You better believe I added this to my cart! I grabbed the striped version and the plain white. I’ve bought a version if this BP tee every year because they just end up coming in handy and at under $20, it’s not going to make your stomach turn!
SIZING: size down one size.
5. Fleece Jacket.
This fleece jacket competes with the Barefoot Dreams cardigan in terms of softness! It’s incredibly comfortable (I have the vest version from last year) and warm. You can also layer it and with the neutral color, you won’t be limited with options. If you don’t like the zipper that runs down the front, get this version without a zipper.
SIZING: size down if you want a more fitted look. If you like oversized, stick with your regular size.
6. Nadri Jewelry.
If you need some classics that you can wear anywhere and everywhere, check out Nadri. I strongly recommend picking up the items you wear the most in both gold and silver. These pieces last a long time (I still have mind from last year and they look great). They’re classy enough to wear to work but also great jewelry staples for the weekend or for weddings! This year, I grabbed this Geo Necklace for $33. I already own this cuff and these stud earrings.
7. Jeffrey Campbell Bootie (2 colors).
I really like a lot of the Vince Camuto booties but I think I like these Jeffrey Campbell booties one the best if I had to pick one. The slit down the side makes your legs look longer and I really like both colors they come in. I got the taupe suede and think they’ll be extremely versatile for the season! The best part is that they are still under $100 which is a steal for this brand!
SIZING: order up a half size.
8. Tory Burch Riding Boot.
Yessss they are back this year and there are not one but 2 different heights of riding boots: over the knee and regular! If you’ve been wanting a pair of flat black boots, pull the trigger. This item will sell out slower since it’s at a higher price point but it will still sell out! I always feel a little uneasy about big purchases like this but both times I’ve purchased these in the sale, I haven’t regretted it at all. These boots are bound to last you at least 2 years.
SIZING: order half a size up. If you have wide calves, get the wide calf version.
9. Vince Camuto Suede Over the Knee Boot (3 colors).
As much as I love my Stuart Weitzmans, these Vince Camuto Kochelda OTK boots might be better. I love the stitching up the size and the more affordable price tag. I got the beige color and cannot wait to wear them to death all fall and winter!
SIZING: size up a half size to a full size. They also have sizing for wide calves!
10. Zella Leggings.
These Zella leggings are going to go fast. There are a bunch of colors from basic black to patterned to mesh cutout. What’s better is that they are all under $50!
I personally have a lot that needs sucking in so I got these Beyond Yoga leggings!
SIZING: Runs TTS.
11. Paige Skinny Jeans.
While I love deals, denim just isn’t something that I like “cheap”. I want it to fit, be flattering, and last me the next 5 years. Is that so hard to ask? Not when Paige Denim is in the NSale! This price is even lower than last year too and the ankle length makes them super easy to pair with any kind of shoe. These are the same ones I wear in a lot of my OOTDs.
SIZING: these are tricky so I would order your regular size and then order the next size down too. You can return whatever one you don’t like but remember they will stretch!
12. Spanx Leggings.
Yes ladies, THEY ARE BACK!! The best news? Both the moto leggings and the regular leggings are part of the sale. HOWEVER, the regular leggings already sold out so let’s hope they are restocked. Grab them immediately. I own 2 pairs of both because I end up wearing them 2-3 days a week all throughout winter (which we know lasts a long time). They are INCREDIBLY flattering and work really well with any kind of boot (even booties). I know I’ve gotten a ton of messages from y’all saying you want them!
SIZING: if between sizes, size up. If you want them to really suck you in, order your regular size!
What did you get from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? What items are you loving?

Wow!! I have good news for girls who love to do yoga to stay active. As proper yoga needs a proper outfit first, I get the best outfit for my yoga at “https://goo.gl/Lu6W4z”. It is awesome and so flexible that I can easily do my yoga poses.
