Guess what just started today! The Nordstrom Half Yearly sale. As usual, there are tons of items that are up to 40% off. Probably literal tons. I remember as a kid my dad would always ask me if it was 2,000 pounds worth (that’s the definition of a ton). In most cases, it wasn’t. But with this Nordstrom sale, I can confidently say it is. There are so many items to go through that I thought it would be helpful to pull out my favorites from the sale for you. Here they are organized by category!
DRESSES:
I know this is everyone’s favorite category! That’s why I’ve been doing my A Dress A Day series! I really like the ones I rounded up below but the 2 that pop out most to me are this striped off the shoulder and this tiered lace dress. Both are perfect for a summer date night – one is casual and one is more formal! Speaking of date nights, here are a few ideas that your man would actually want to do (written by Matt)!
TOPS:
There were a lot of tops that I wasn’t too keen on but again, I love the ones below! Tons of them are under $30 too which is crazy. I like this silky tiered off the shoulder which is only $27. This cotton tank in yellow also just screams summer!
SHOES:
The fringe heels from this post are on sale now in blush! I think I like the blush better for summer anyway – they are under $100! I’m also really into mules (despite the unattractive name) because they are so easy on the feet. These are my favorite – I have some by the same designer from last year and they’ve held up really well. I can keep up with Matt’s fast paced walking in them, no problem!
ACCESSORIES:
There are so many great deals on Rebecca Minkoff bags!! If you wanted a neutral bag, this is my favorite option but I also love the stitching and contrast on this baby blue saddle bag with tassels. I also included this straw tote in my round up of the 5 best beach bags for summer and it’s reduced!
FOR THE BRIDE:
Bring a bride means you need a bunch of white outfits in a short amount of time. Take advantage of this sale and leave yourself more budget for the actual wedding! I love this lace shift dress for a bridal shower and this knit midi for a rehearsal dinner with some fun statement heels. If you know a bride, send her this post. FAVORITES UNDER $50:
This is my favorite category! I love to take advantage of these sales to stock up on basics. I own this 3/4 sleeve blouse in white so I bought it in every other color for $28 in my size. I’ve also been wanting a new work bag so I opted for this one that’s only $22! If you’re new to Street Level Bags, they are really affordable basic bags for everyday wear. I’m a really big fan of their reversible totes in every color. The laser cut out wrap dress that I’m wearing above is also only $45 now in a gorgeous lavender color!
