Who ever thought the name necklace would become such a phenomenon? And not just a phenomenon that our middle school selves would squeal about – a legit trend in the fashion world. Personally, I’m obsessed. I can’t own enough pieces of jewelry that have my name or initials monogrammed into it. They really help people remember your name after meeting them too – added bonus? After losing my first name necklace (I’m like a pro at misplacing things), I found this one from Love Always. It’s a must browse shop for gold and silver basics – I predict some layering in my future.
Name necklaces are almost as trendy as those plastic tattoo chokers I never took off circa 2000. Just kidding. Those chokers fall into the big bucket of bad fashion decisions I’ve made in my life. Right up there with glitter encrusted butterfly clips and my softball uniform (when worn off the field – heck, even on the field). Meh. We live and we learn, right?
PS. for all my hashtag enthusiasts, Love Always also has a hashtag nameplate necklace. And yes, we’ve all been guilty of using more than three hashtags per post.
