Olive J.Crew Utility Jacket (this has lasted for 6 years!) | $19 Long Sleeve Striped Tee | High Waisted Jeans | Thermal Leggings | Similar Riding Boots
Alternate Style: Red Flats | Red Plaid Scarf
This is literally my go to outfit. Any day that I just don’t have the inspiration to figure out something chic, I put on this combination. What I love about this utility jacket plus striped tee combination is that it actually looks like you tried! You can wear this on the weekend or to the office if you work in a casual workplace too!
This olive J.Crew utility jacket is one of my favorite purchases. Initially, I thought it was so overrated. However, it’s lasted over 6 years and it’s been through the washer. In my book, if something survives the washer (and doesn’t require dry cleaning), that’s a huge win. It’s just one of those basics that every girl needs in her closet. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve tried other military jackets too but this one just fits the best and has the most versatility!
This striped tee is another Nordstrom steal because it’s only $19. I wear it all the time whenever I want to incorporate a little more print into my outfit. It’s a great layering basic and since it’s under $20, you won’t feel guilty about buying it in multiple colors. There are 6 colors and prints total! I also like to wear this combination with a red plaid scarf! And in warmer temperatures, I swap out the boots for red flats. It looks really good, I promise!
These Tory Burch riding boots were one of my investment purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale earlier this year! I had been holding out, waiting for the sale to purchase! They’re out of stock now but I’ve rounded up some similar riding boots! I just love the way riding boots look with a good pair of skinny jeans.

I love how you styled that jacket! I have a similar jacket that just sits in my closet because I can never find the right things to wear it with, so I’ll definitely have to try this look! :)
