Inspired by a few rainy days here in Los Angeles, I broke out one of my favorite color combinations: black and grey. It’s such a classic combination and pretty much fool proof although most monochromatic looks are, right? Everything you throw together looks like it belongs on Pinterest! After finding the perfect pair of high waisted jeans from Scoop NYC, the rest of the outfit came together easily. If you know me, you know I can never own enough things in the color grey especially grey jeans so don’t be surprised if I find a way to wear these again.
I’m usually not a fan of the turtleneck because they feel constrictive but I love this one from LOFT. It’s very light weight and can be worn with so many different pieces. Try it over your favorite skinny jeans, tucked into a festive skirt, or under a fur vest for starters. Paired with two of my all-time favorite pieces – these over the knee boots and trapeze bag – it’s a wearable and versatile look for so many occasions during this holiday season.
