Grey Oversized Cardigan | White Thermal (also seen here) | Faux Leather Leggings (under $100 and I wear them SO much!) | Over the Knee Boots | Suki Crossbody | Grey Fringe Scarf ($29!) | White Beanie (only $17!) | Black Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Bawse’
The last few days in Chicago have been very… grey. The weather channel called this week’s freezing rain “sloppy”. I wasn’t aware that was a proper weather term! In honor of that, I’ve channeled these cloudy skies into my outfit. I just love how the layers turned out!
This oversized grey cardigan is the softest thing. I feel like they usually refer to this fabric as “eyelash” which seems weird to me. That said, it’s so snuggly. I love the oversized fit (I’m wearing the XS/S for reference). The length is perfect – I hate when things are too long because they always seem to get caught in something. The sleeves are a little shorter than a regular sweater which creates this chic layered look! Hello fab!
If you’ve been looking for the perfect white top to layered under everything this winter/spring, this thermal is it. Plus, it has thumb holes! Who doesn’t love thumb holes? There’s something so cozy about them! It’s got a flowy fit so you don’t need to worry about it hugging anything you don’t want to show! Hallelujah. My winter body has been going strong the last few days – oops. It runs true to size and comes in about 10 colors. I started with the white and am currently contemplating the other colors that I need. All of them? I also wore this thermal in Monday’s post!
Don’t judge me, but I spent last weekend in these Spanx leggings. Insert that monkey hiding its eyes emoji. They’re just so flattering (I go more into detail in this post). I know they’re leggings, but I’m actually layering them over another pair of these thermal tights. You can’t even tell – that’s how slimming they are!
I haven’t been going anywhere without wearing these thermal tights because they add a little extra warmth for your legs. It’s usually my knees that get cold in this winter weather. Do they make knee warmers? Until I find another solution, the legging plus over the knee boot combination has been great!
Do you have a go to winter outfit? Maybe a pair of your fav joggers? A sweater? A scarf? Totally guilty of all of these!
PS. I totally wrote this post on the elliptical this morning. How many others multitask?
That cardigan is SO my style! :) You’re looking great in this cute outfit.
