White Ruffled One Piece Swimsuit
Just like Tuesday’s post on the best spring dresses, I’ve been getting a bunch of questions about cute affordable swimwear! While swimsuit shopping isn’t exactly my favorite thing to do, I do love a good deal. Especially on something that you don’t wear all that much if you live in a colder climate! So here are my favorite places to shop for affordable one pieces and bikinis (as well as some adorable options)!
When I went to the Bahamas back in January, I ran into this predicament. You’ve got a beach vacation coming up and you don’t know where to get a cute swimsuit. Plus, you want affordable swimwear because, chances are, you’re trying to escape a cold climate. Unless of course, you’re one of those lucky people that get to live in California, Arizona, or Florida. I wish! So where do you go? Try these options.
5 PLACES FOR YOUR AFFORDABLE SWIMWEAR
1. Target.
Target is everyone’s favorite store. I don’t know anyone that can go into a Target and get out of there without spending $50. Imagine if your next swimsuit was actually under $50 though! I bought 2 suits for our trip and this white one (pictured above) was one of them. I was so impressed with the quality. Sure, the cuts aren’t as cheeky but there’s nothing wrong with that. Especially if you have a low back or a cute ruffle too! They are also having a huge BOGO right now – buy one get 1 50% off!!
2. Old Navy.
I’ve been finding tons of cute stuff here lately. I love that you can mix and match and often find things that are under $30. Keep an eye out for sales, as they are frequently running a great deal! I also love that they have an in-store pickup option, which saves time in case something doesn’t work out!
3. Nordstrom.
Everyone’s (other) favorite store. While I wouldn’t say that Nordstrom kills it in the wallet-friendly swimsuit department, they do have a few options including this black one shoulder one piece. It’s only $52 if you can believe it. The rest of these options have price points that are a little higher but you are guaranteed to get the best quality stuff. I have a few Becca suits and they are truly amazing and figure flattering!
4. H&M.
Doesn’t it always seem like H&M helps in a clutch with an affordable yet stylish steal? They’ve got quite a few options from scalloped bottoms to palm print one pieces. What I really liked is the selection of unique colors and patterns. I feel like I see the same suits over and over again but these were really refreshing!
5. Sales.
This is kind of a cheat but it’s my favorite way to shop. If you have a brand that you love or you know fits you really well, sign up for their emails. Whenever they are running a promotion, make sure to check the site to snag your favorite suits at a discount. I do this all the time with brands like Montce, Luli Fama, Maaji, and Beach Bunny. Those are some of my favorite brands that work really well with my wide hips and still keep things fun and on trend. Just be warned, sale sizes tend to go fast so as soon as you see that email, start shopping!
Another tip is to check sale sections. Revolve is hands down my favorite for this. I pretty much only buy swimsuits off Revolve or buy direct from the brands I love. The shipping is incredibly fast, the quality is amazing, and I love the styles.
