I buy a little black dress every season. There always seems to be at least one occasion, and usually more, where I break it out when I have nothing else to wear. If you missed this summer’s date-night worthy LBD that had Matt’s jaw dropping, see here. For fall, I’m sticking with the cut outs but shifting gears with this $52 Speechless dress!

Aside from the amazing price point, this dress is an easy one to wear for all figures. Gotta love that shift shape! It also lends itself really well to layering over leggings or wearing it with over the knee boots when it gets colder. Who am I kidding? In Chicago, it’s already colder! I mean, it was 47 degrees on Saturday morning. Our friends texted me to say it was “see your breath” cold outside and I should layer up. So sweet!

This California girl is adjusting pretty well to Chicago though! The hardest part has been not having all of my clothing with me yet. I packed for what I thought fall was like. Turns out, my version of fall is a very Southern Californian version. The only coat I thought I’d need is this double breasted trench coat! 4 more days until the moving truck arrives! Just crossing my fingers they don’t delay it again! 4 more days, guys. Then I get to bask in the glory of unpacking haha!
