Continuing with this week’s theme of love, let’s talk wedding guest style! Just like Wednesday’s post about bridal showers, summer might just mean a lot of marriage celebrations are in your future. Well, not to worry. This Adrianna Papell dress is my top pic for wedding season! Whether you’re headed to a beach affair or a winery, I can’t think of an occasion where you’d be out of place in this!

Truth be told, I passed over this dress the first time I was searching on Zappos.com through the Adrianna Papell pieces. I didn’t want to like it. I mean, florals? Could I get any more predictable? No. But as I shuffled through the pages, something drew me in. I added it to my cart, still not 100% sold but hit the purchase button anyway. It took about 2 seconds after putting this dress on to change that tune though. The fit is incredible. The ruffled shoulders and flowy skirt are about as flattering as physically possible. The Chicago wind (they don’t call it The Windy City for no reason) is really showing this off for you too!

I also picked up these white heels to go with this dress. White footwear isn’t my first thought when I’m shopping but I always seem to wear it more in real life. It just goes so much better with feminine prints like this one or bright and pastel colors. Black shoes always make things feel a little… dated. Like something I would have put together in college. While I have very fond memories of college, this is all in all, not a good thing.

This beaded clutch was a little daring of me to include too. I paired silver and gold! It’s a little unusual to the eye at first glance but I like that. It makes you do a double take. And when we get dressed up for the day or an event, isn’t that what every girl wants?
