Climate Sensitive Skincare with Pour Moi Beauty

Y’all, this is GENIUS. Today I’m so excited to introduce Pour Moi Beauty – a skincare brand that actually adapts to the climate you are in! Of course the French would think of it!

My skin is easily affected by climate changes. Whether it’s seasonal, location based when I travel, or just reacting to the local weather, it can be tough to change your routine to match what’s going on around you. Do I need an extra pump of lotion today? Should I take it easy on the hydrating cleanser tonight? It’s not like I have a barometer in my apartment that I check religiously! Pour Moi has taken all the guesswork out of the process for you and for that I am grateful. Skincare is personal and your routine should be personalized to match! Here’s how I’ve been incorporating this line into my mornings.

Step 1. After washing my face with my cleanser, I layer on the Hydrating Balancer which acts like a toner and moisturizer in one. It’s designed to be universal for all skin types!

Step 2. Pour Moi offers 2 serums depending on your skin type. The Black Serum is for skin that tends to be on the dry side while the White Serum is for oily/combination skin. I’ve been sticking with the White Serum because my skin is more combination than anything else. Truth be told, my skin isn’t exactly either of the extremes (fortunately). I can’t wait to switch over to the Black Serum during winter though because my skin definitely gets dry especially when we go back to Chicago!

Step 3. This is the exciting part! There are 4 different day creams for various climates: desert, tropical, polar, and temperate. I’ve been sticking with temperate since that’s how I’d best describe Los Angeles lately (very overcast). I’m loving how it perfectly moisturizes my skin. We’re not quite ready for desert yet but give Mother Nature a month and I’ll be all over it! I tried the polar just for fun at night and definitely noticed an increase in moisture and skin protection. I will definitely be packing it for our next snowy destination trip! With summer around the corner, the Day Cream (Tropical) will definitely come in handy as it works to moisturize without making it look like you’re sweating. No one wants that.

So there you have it! The first skin care regime that I’ve heard of that you can rely on to give your skin what it needs based on your location! Complete genius!
