Christmas In An Outfit

The first thing out of Matt’s mouth when I stepped out in this outfit was “you look like Christmas.” Matt has a very interesting way of expressing his opinions on my fashion choices so I decided to take that as a positive. With all the love and happiness surrounding the holiday season, I don’t see how it could be a negative! This Topshop flutter sleeve dress was the perfect canvas to layer the plaid blanket scarf. I loved how the colors complimented each other but were still different enough to keep the outfit complex.

Another standout from today is this jewelry by Melinda Maria. It’s so hard to find quality gold pieces that stay beautiful after 10 (let alone 100) wears. I loved the entire line (clearly, because I’m wearing only Melinda Maria jewelry today) – I mean how stunning is this cocktail ring? The 2 pave rings I paired with it went so well and I’ve worn them almost every day since opening the package! To capture the love of the holiday season, I added this Heart + Arrow bracelet to the stack. It’s understated enough to wear every day but add it to a stack and it’s perfect for a night out. Expect to be seeing a lot more of these pieces in the future!

So far, this outfit is definitely a contender to be worn on Christmas day or at least sometime in December! What do you think? What are you planning to wear?

  4. I wouldn’t picture this as a Christmas outfit per say, but that’s because it’s NEVER warm enough to wear a dress like that around here in December. I do really love the detailing on your dress, and of course, the blanket scarf.
