There is nothing quite as comfortable as a chambray dress. Add polka dots to it and there is nothing quite as cute as one either. This piece from Bella Dahl is by far one of the softest things I own. Something about the drawstring waist is so flattering (and frankly, makes me look skinnier than I am). What girl doesn’t want that?!?
In other news, my love affair with mules has continued as I’m re-wearing these by Dolce Vita (that are totally on sale). So comfortable and they really elongate the legs! For Bali, I really wanted some straw accessories to capture that beach vibe. San Diego Hat Company had this hat and bag which were perfect for that carefree island vibe and this chambray look.
Everything I’m wearing is basic but you’ll see it every season. Chambray will always be around and so will straw hats which means maximum wear for each piece!

What a cute dress – love the polka dots and what a great way to close out summer style!
