Today’s post is going to be really short! If you caught my Instagram Stories last night, you know both Matt and I were up late packing. We leave for 2 weeks so naturally, we were packing the night before. Does anyone do it any other way? Plus, I feel like we got real personal yesterday so let’s back it up to fashion today!
I feel like right now is that awkward transitional period between fall and summer. Stores are only carrying fall styles and all the summer items are starting to go on sale. Personally, that’s when I like to stock up on summer items. I love a good deal! I just shopped the Revolve sale last week for our trip and got some amazing items!
But in the meantime, I’ve been finding the pieces that can be worn now and later. Like this ruffle sleeve burgundy dress (also in taupe). While summer winds down, you can wear this with mules. When fall picks up, swap out those mules for booties! Matt and I shot this while in New Hampshire last weekend and the weather was so unpredictable that I was glad I packed pieces that could be worn multiple ways!
Sizing tips: If you are above 5’5″, I would recommend sizing up in this dress! And if you’re above 5’10” this isn’t the dress for you (unless you are all leg).
