When thinking about fall, the first 2 things that come to mind are structured pieces and comfy knits. While seemingly opposite, I decided to challenge myself to combining both of these in one look. On top of that, I decided to do it with $250 that the Beverly Center provided as part of their Beverly Center Style challenge! They will annouce the winners on Thursday, September 18th in a fun event at the Beverly Center. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!
As I was perusing the Beverly Center, I noticed the fall colors had already arrived! I don’t know about y’all, but I’m still in summer mode and I plan to drag my feet all the way until I’m forced to wear my first sweater of the season. Sooo, that should be about late October here in LA.
Staying true to my dismay about fall being right around the corner, I styled this outfit with hints of warmer seasons in mind – ALDO floral heels, a red statement necklace, and a red clutch to balance out my pops of color. Don’t get me wrong, grey is my favorite color so obviously I had to include this knit which I’m planning to live in come winter. Also loving this “borrowed from the boys” white structured top. So, how do you think I did?
H&M white blouse (can’t find it online but here is a similar one), H&M grey knit, H&M structured skirt, ALDO heels, M. Haskell necklace, H&M rings / rings / bracelets, Susu clutch
The save the date slash event details are below!
