When winter hits, there’s nothing better than cozying up at home. What better way to do that than with slippers? Today, I’m sharing some of the best UGG slippers I’ve found this year!
Believe it or not, I never owned a pair of slippers before this year. I’m not sure why. I’m always freezing around the house. I’m constantly snuggled up under a throw blanket. Either that or I’m turning the thermostat up! Matt will sometimes come home and comment how warm it is in the apartment. I’m still surprised by how much they help you stay warm! PS. The first thing I think of when I want some cozy footwear is shearling. I love fuzzy slippers because they’re so soft and they keep you so warm! My slippers are always sitting out because I wear them so much now. If the sole is rubber, that’s convenient because if you have to walk outside quickly, you can without ruining the bottoms.
I decided to get 2 different pairs of slippers from Nordstrom this season to beat the cold. The first pair is a more classic style: a moccasin. But there’s a twist! I love the little pom pom on the toe of the slipper. These best UGG slippers come in 3 colors too – I got the cream. These slippers are great for those winter-y days or if your feet tend to run cold!
The second pair of slippers is more unique! The UGG Aberla is like a fuzzy shearling flip flop. I’m totally in love! I was debating between the pink (now sold out) and the white. They’re both so adorable it’s tough to choose. I had both in my cart for hours and even asked Matt for help (he said white). I went with the pink but the white is definitely more wearable with different outfits especially if you’re planning to wear them outside. There’s also a cognac color if you like neutral brown tones! They’re just so fun!
Since a girl can only wear so many slippers a year, I had to cap myself at two! But, here are some more of my favorites that I had such a hard deciding between! These knit slippers keep selling out they are so popular!
The thing I love about UGGs is that they last forever. I still have a pair of the classic UGGs from 2008. Can you believe it? They’re almost a decade old and I’m just now getting to the point where I need to replace them. I’m trying to decide between the following – do you have a favorite? I love that these burgundy boots are on sale – they look so amazing for winter! I think I’m leaning toward the classic tall boot in grey though – they’re just so pretty!
