Floral Maxi Dress (45% off, runs a little small!) | Similar Brown Sandals | White Crossbody Bag | Similar Pink Sunglasses | $14 Bar Necklace | Threader Earrings
Last week or maybe the week before, I got a request to do a round up of the best spring dresses. Even though some of us may feel like spring is far away (Chicago needs to get it together!), the calendar says it’s almost here. Dresses are kind of my thing. So here are my favorite dresses for when it finally warms up – by category, price point, and occasion!
PS. I love getting requests! If you have one, submit it here!
After shopping a little to prepare for this post, I can see why I got this request. Honestly, I’m not loving a lot of what is out there right now. I was so disappointed! It almost made me grateful that wearing a spring dress outside right now is unrealistic in the Midwest. Nordstrom had a bunch of dull colors and a noticeably small selection. Revolve was really into bodycons (specifically mini bodycons) and in my opinion about 2% of the population looks good in those. I saw a ton of awkward cuts and weird puffy sleeves on a bunch of other websites too. I’m hoping this turns around by March or I might have to recycle old favorites all year (like the one above which is currently 45% off)!
So with that, let me share the best spring dresses with you guys (so far)!
Best Spring Dresses Under $100 with Prints
I just jumped in and started off with my favorite category first. Every single dress below is right up my alley. I wore this floral wrap dress when we went to the Bahamas last month and it’s currently on sale! This lily printed dress also caught my eye because I love a good white dress when you have a tan going.
Best Spring Dresses Under $100
This was one of those categories that I found it really hard to find cute dresses for! I was trying to round up a few solid options but since there were so few dresses in general, it was tough. I really wanted to do an under $50 category but there weren’t enough dresses to pick from! I’ll have to do another post once more items hit the shelves. Otherwise, I’ve called out in the widgets where things are under $50!
Best Spring Dresses: Basics
Here’s a category with quite a few under $50! This grey cotton dress ($50) looks so incredibly comfortable. One of those dresses you just wear on repeat and throw on for errands. I also own and love this dusty rose split neck dress ($46). It’s just an easy shape but size up if you’re over 5’6″. Also make sure you check out the bow on the back of this striped dress. Just too adorable.
Best Spring Dresses for Spring Break
I was clearly channeling dresses that are great for throwing on for multiple occasions and also over a bathing suit for this one! My favorite dress is this blush pink one. While it’s a little more of a splurge, this dress will last you for years. I’ve have my first 9seed dress for 3 seasons and bring it out every beach vacation. It’s incredibly easy to wear and the fabric is perfect for tropical destinations. If you want an under $50 option, this red floral print is one of my favorites! I had a dress by Billabong last year and it impressed me!
Best Spring Dresses for Events (Weddings or Easter)
The blue ruffle wrap dress and the pink wrap dress from this category are my favorites. They’re so great for those transitional seasons (like spring) when it’s still a little chilly at night. Plus, the shades of blue and pink are perfect spring colors. You could even wear these on Easter depending on what your family does! Both are so adorable!
What did you think of the best spring dresses? Do you have any favorites right now? Or would you want to see a refresh of this post once more things come in stock?
