On Sunday, I turned it over to you guys over on Instagram to decide what you wanted me to post this week! One of the most requested posts was the best dresses from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Not surprising! You can see all my posts from the biggest sale of the year here and now, lets get started with another!

Dresses are the best. They’re easy to wear and super flattering for the female. In my A Dress A Day series, I talked about this about 30 times. The series was about different dresses for every occasion and you can see all of the posts here if you missed it! It was so fun to come up with new events to attend. But let’s get focused. The two requests I got when I asked y’all on Instagram were summer vacation dresses and work dresses! These are definitely 2 categories that are so relevant right now!
Since the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is mostly fall content, I think it’s perfect for refreshing your closet with office appropriate options. I ordered a bunch of these but they haven’t arrived yet. I’ll be trying them on Instagram Stories, when I do, I will talk about the fit and sizing! I have really high hopes for this Eliza J fit and flare for under $100! I’m also loving the royal blue color of this ruffle sleeve sheath! It’s also under $100 and love that there is a tie at the waist (to make it flattering).
And now for a few of my favorite summer dresses! All of these are under $50! The pink dress I’m wearing today is under $30 and is one of those ‘wear now, wear later’ options. It has the cutest tie in the back and comes in 6 prints/colors! I’m 5’8″ so it’s tall girl approved too! I also got the black floral print and feel like it would be great with these suede over the knee boots from the Nordstrom sale!
Note: the rest of these dresses are not from the sale so everyone can shop them (i.e. you don’t need a Nordstrom card)!
This $45 embroidered blue dress just came in too (I’ll be posting it later this week) and is a really great fit! I love how it flows and it would be perfect for an end of summer vacation. I also feel like I could totally see this ruffled midi dress somewhere on a beach. And if you’re looking for the perfect LWD or are a bride to be looking for a honeymoon dress, this white off the shoulder ruffle is gorgeous (or this bell sleeve shift dress)!
