Bachelorette

I celebrated my bachelorette party a few weekends again and I’m finally sharing one of the dresses I wore. I spent weeks finding the perfect white dress – there was no website I didn’t search! Vegas as a late 20-something and bride to be is much different from Vegas as a 21 year old… in terms of general activities and fashion too. Not interested in the ill fitting bandage bodycons anymore, I needed something classy and not so 21-year-old-on-the-prowl. However, it couldn’t be boring.

I loved the silhouette of this NBD little white fit and flare dress. It was the perfect, sophisticated party outfit. The criss cross back was one of my favorite aspects – if you’ve ever read a blog post of mine, it’s clear that I love strappy complicated clothing. A few intricate cut outs and a delicate necklace is exactly the look I was going for. Interesting yet not too revealing. More importantly, it was wearable to occasions other than the club.

Looking back on my younger years, I’ve also picked up a makeup trick or too. Absent from this last trip was that frosted lip gloss I used to put on like my life depended on it. CVS was where it was at for beauty in college. Am I right? Now, the bold red lip is my go to for a more elevated look (and my hair doesn’t get stuck in it). Much better.
