I’m just going to say it. I LOVE this outfit. It didn’t look nearly as good in my head as it turned out in real life. Those are the best kinds of outfits aren’t they? Inspired by this plaid fringe skirt, I went a little refined school girl with this ensemble but I’m totally going to wear it to work too. I love the black v-neck for its classic elegance – I’m a firm believer you can never own enough v-neck sweaters. Pretty sure I own at least one in every color.
And these boots. I mean, I can’t even say enough positive words about these over the knee boots. Literally, don’t know where to begin. What’s even better is they are currently on sale. While they may be an investment, I can’t stress how critical these are to my wardrobe (and yours). Wear them with everything from a skort, to a dress, to pants. If you can wear it, it goes with these over the knee boots. I’ve had mine since last year and they still look relatively new despite the fact I’m notorious for being hard on my shoes.

The ladies below and I have teamed up with ASOS to bring you all things fringe. From skirts, to dresses, to shawls, we’ve literally covered it all. And I’m all about prolonging the life of the fringe trend far beyond festival season!
