There is nothing I love more than mixing patterns and textures. Well, except maybe bright colors. Spring has finally showed up to the party, fashionably late might I add, so I’ve made an attempt at the pastel color scheme it inevitably peer pressures everyone into with this mint knit. However, my heart will always be committed to with all things neon, loud, and obnoxious. Hence my current obsession with this hot pink Kate Spade. So when the opportunity to pair knit and neon with the oh so chic herringbone pattern arose (i.e. I left my other coat at Matt’s grandma’s house), I gladly accepted. A side note, I’m exceptionally good at leaving things behind as my mother and my fiance can attest to. But there’s no better way to forget my shortcomings or as my mother likes to remind me, my “absent-minded professor” ways than putting on my favorite Valentinos. Now, if only I had a few more pairs for every life challenge. The great thing here is that this look is super easy to recreate: take any fun colored knit, pair it with a basic patterned coat, and let your bag do the talking!
