Floral Sundress | Woven Sandals | Woven Handbag | Tortoise Sunglasses | Gingko Leaf Earrings | Gold Necklace
How perfect is the setting of this gazebo? It’s one of the first things I saw during our stay at Fairmont Grand Del Mar and I could not wait to shoot there! I wanted to find the perfect outfit and I think I did! For a few more glimpses of the property before I share the review (spoiler alert: it is incredible) check out these posts here, here, and here.
Once of the things I find myself missing after a year in a pandemic is social outings. I don’t need to be in a crowded bar, although if I did this dress would be my go to. Just give me something with some beautiful scenery, spaced apart from others, and preferably during the day so I can still be in bed by 10PM. Isn’t it funny how the last year has changed us? This is where a winery trip comes in. While we won’t be heading to Napa soon (I wish), we’re hoping to make it to a local winery for a little afternoon date and this dress is perfect for it.
Let’s talk about this floral sundress for a second. It is INCREDIBLE. It is my personal favorite dress from this ‘A Dress A Day’ series. That includes what is to come! If you’ve missed any of my posts, you can check them out here or head to Instagram to see them all in one place! I absolutely love the color of this sundress – it’s this beautiful coral-orange and I love the big patters on it with the cut out back. My mother always used to make fun of how much I like things with detailed backs (it deterred her from helping with my laundry because my clothes were too hard to hang up). The fit of this dress is amazing and I absolutely love the length because you can still do just about anything you would do in pants. It makes sitting on a blanket with a crisp glass of rosé easy. Truthfully, it feels like a $500 dress when it comes to quality as well. I have been keeping my eye on this brand, Farm Rio, and here are some other favorites!
Worth mentioning, these brown leather sandals have fast become my favorite because of the padded sole. It’s so rare to fine! They are extremely comfortable although if you have a wider foot, I’d recommend sizing up! I also love this woven tote for summer. Woven bags are always synonymous with warmer weather and one bag will get you through the entire season. They somehow go with everything and provide that effortless vibe we all love. Check out my accessories shop for my favorite summer bags!
