A Dress A Day: Honeymoon (Day 13)

Ok so I cheated a little and extended my bride to be inspiration to another day. If you missed Saturday’s post, you’re going to want to check it out here! I saw this dress and had the concept for this post and could not pass up an opportunity to share it with you girls! It was too good and seeing how it all came together, I hope you don’t mind.

I’m a lover of Free People (about half the time, more when it comes to dresses). When it’s bohemian, flowy, and feminine, sign me up. Sometimes, the pieces get a little exotic even for my taste but this cloud print maxi dress is the perfect example of something that is right up my alley. And a lot of yours, I’d imagine. It’s the perfect beach day coverup but it would also make a wonderful dinner dress when you’re enjoying a meal across from your new husband under the palm trees with the ocean waves in the background. And if you’re well into your marriage like I am, heck, it would make for a great vacation dress (stay tuned for more of that).

Here are my favorite honeymoon dresses! I tried to keep them white for the most part but threw in a little color just in case.

This scalloped hat is my favorite purchase for summer yet. I’m a huge proponent of protecting your skin from the sun for anti-aging purposes but also as a melanoma survivor. This scalloped hat is the cutest thing I’ve seen that is functional for both everyday outfits but also for beach days. Trust me, it’s excellent. There is also this $20 version here.
