A Dress A Day: Day Date (Day 2)

Truthfully, I didn’t know my theme before we shot these photos. I kept going back and forth on what dress to wear at this location and the first dress, just didn’t work. So, I opted for this blue floral print dress by Reformation and the response I got from Matt was…. a response to say the least! He could not compliment me enough during this shoot! Therefore, this became the day date installment of April’s ‘A Dress A Day’ series!

When I ordered this dress, I wasn’t sure it would work on me. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it fit. It still makes you feel feminine without overdoing it and I love that it has long sleeves. It could definitely be work to a baby shower or a bridal shower, probably a rehearsal dinner as well. However, I had to pay homage to the first time in a long time that Matt noticed what we were shooting. Trust me, I’ve worn and asked him to do a lot of crazy stuff over the years so he isn’t easily excited! And for more day date outfit inspiration, check out my favorite options below. I feel like these dresses would go right into my suitcase if I had ever been on The Bachelor. There’s a little bit of everything!

These ankle strap sandals are also a fantastic investment. As one of the more budget friendly pairs of heels, they last an extremely long time and the comfort level can’t be beat. The thick block heels makes them insanely comfortable and great for hitting the dance floor all night long which makes them perfect for wedding season or day dates. The dainty ankle strap also keep them from getting too clunky. I can’t get enough of them! They come in about 10 different colors too.
