A Dress A Day: Black Tie Event (Day 17)

Can you believe how stunning these arches are? It’s like something out of Europe but it’s so close to home in San Diego at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar! The reason we found this resort is because our friends really wanted to take a photo there for their engagement party invitations. Not being able to travel abroad, they were looking for the same feel and the Fairmont Grand Del Mar delivered. This black beaded gown is stunning and if you’re ever browsed Pinterest, you’ve probably seen this dress in a beige color. The beige is beautiful (one of my best friends is thinking about having her bridesmaids wear them) but I really wanted to try the black. It’s the quintessential black tie dress with the beautiful beading and the quality, as with all of Adrianna Papell’s pieces, is impeccable. I love the art deco style because it’s so romantic. If you’re reading this post early enough then snag this feather clutch as soon as you can! It looks like there is only one left! But I really fell in love with this designer for all of her clutches this series. She makes really beautiful pieces that can go from event to event and the quality is really amazing as is the versatility of each bag. All of the ones I have seen come with chains too to wear as a crossbody which is so convenient when you don’t want to carry something in your hand!
