I saw something the other day about chokers being more basic than the PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte). If that’s the case, oh well. Call me basic. I’m accepting any and all chokers into my jewelry box lately. Whether they’re velvet or gold like this Debra Choker from Kendra Scott, I’m lovely it all. While I’ve been obsessing over chokers, the people in the Midwest have been obsessing over vests. After moving here, I noticed everyone wearing them almost every day. Guys and girls, it didn’t matter. From puffers to fur, the city was decked out! I didn’t get it. If I’m cold, I’m going to wear a jacket. What was the point in only covering your body and not your arms?

Let me tell you though, I’m kind of getting into them! After getting this faux fur vest of course! It’s sooo soft. It’s also almost sold out so I’ve linked to a couple other options. It’s perfect for layering over plaid shirts (or this little swing dress). It also fits perfect under those winter coats for an extra layer of warmth!

Clearly, I’m feeling the browns today! Taupe on taupe. These over the knee boots are going to be worn out before the end of the month if I keep wearing them so much. They just go with everything! With the weekend almost here, this outfit has been dreaming of brunch. Of course, I’ll need to add my favorite parka over it. I think I saw single digits in the weather forecast over the next week. Yikes!
